You must have a luxury package 1996 M3, which has wood trims, on board computer and nappa leather seats.
As far as I know, luxury M3s didn't come with the normal M3s' sideskirts. If you look at the front bumper, the bumper grills are also different between the two. Normal M3s had the mesh grills, your car doesn't.
