The Saleen and Roush are nice enough tuner cars, but by the time you're done you've spent >45K on a Mustang. Not the world's best deal, IMHO.

On the other hand, the Cobra has peformance that rivals the E46 M3 for $30K. It's not the world's most refined car, and it will never be mistaken for a BMW, but if you want bang for the buck, it's about the best you can do.
