M3 Wheel repair (archive)

Had Kumho's put on car Friday and the tire shop buggered up the paint on one of my wheels. It is the 12 spoke M3 wheel. The paint is real thick like it may be heavy powder-coat. Anybody hear of paint repairs for these,..if so where and how much?. I am giving the shop owner the choice of repair or replacement if I can find a repair option!
