i was driving to work, the bell just ding once. I stopped, checked all the door and trunk. they're closed. I don;t know what it was for.

My car is behaving strangely. With the drivers door open, NO key in the ignition, the bell dings continuously. If the key is inserted and turne to position 2, the dinging stops. I think that this might have something to do with the steering wheel not locking in place when I remove the key. It will not lock. I hope someone out there knows the solution to this.
