window malfunction (archive)

my drivers side front window has been malfunctioning lately and I am trying to determine the cause.

At random times during driving the window will open and shut, open and shut like it is supposed to do when you close the door. How ever it will cycle through a few times and then stop. Sometimes it turns the overhead light on in the car and it wont turn it off. I guess it thinks the door is open.

Anyway, I am not sure if it is the window motor, regulator, or just the switch. Also, any advice on where to pick these parts up? I'm new to the M3 scene.

Any help would be apppreciated. Thanks.
