i am afraid to drive the car hard cause of this .. lol .. i think the fact you were driivng normally, and aware of engine responsiveness saved you .. but i bet if you were really reving hard you would have done some serious damage.
My older Integra had superb shifting system .. so I hope the BMW can match it.

Thanks

i kind of thought it was isolated incident but happened to me the other night, 4th to 3rd instead of 5th at a little over 90 I wasnt driving aggressive and when i went to throw it into 5 it felt kinda wrong, like 5th wasnt there, as soon as i kinda forced it in i pulled back into 4th and pulled over. car seemed ok but i know i redlined it cause i saw it.. the thing that bothers me is i backhand it and pushed all the way to thr right and up and i have no idea how 3rd was there, it was bizzare and def scared the shit out of me.

is this what the tranny mounts should prevent??

Thanks
