I was mostly satisfied with these tires that were new when I bought my car, but recently, I've experienced a huge change in feel. All of the sudden (about 8k miles of wear), the rear is very loose under acceleration and cornering. I have played around with the tire pressure, but it doesn't seem to make a drastic difference. The only thing I haven't tried is extremely high pressure (i.e. 40s).

I realize that my car may be pulling a bit harder as the average temperature is significantly lower in the winter where I live (about 40-50 degrees), but I can easily break the back end loose at ANY time in 2nd. Also, I can shake the rear out hard under high rev shifts into 3rd.

I have no engine mods.
Traction control is off - obviously.
Tires still have lots of visible tread.

Anyone else have this problem?

Jeff
