start engine and let run for 15-30 secs. shut off. open radiator cap (VERY CAREFULLY - it could be hot and you could burn yourself). Put cap back on carefully threading it correctly, they are easy to cross thread and still feel right.

If it doesn't work then I would try bleeding before replacing sensor...
