Yeah, you may be right, I'm just worried because it was such a drastic difference. Also, I didn't think 8k was a lot of miles on these tires, since they have a 300 tread wear rating. Too bad I can't have the best of both worlds:

Cool air AND Sticky tires!

I'm going for more rubber soon (18"s).

By the way, I am in Las Vegas, but I am from PA and used to live in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
