If you really want more sound to go into the cabin, you will need to mount the subs in the rear deck in an infinite baffle setup. Unless you really know what you are doing, I would recommend that you have a pro stereo shop do it for you. It really needs to be sealed properly. The trunk will serve as the subwoofer box. You will need to buy subs that are made for this application. I think Pioneer make a model, and you could also use Diamond M5 subs, which is what I have. I have 2 10" subs mounted in the rear deck, and I've kept the stock rear speakers for fill. Excellent sound, deep, rich, not muffled.

hi, im about to build my subwoofer box, but had some last minute doubts. I first was wondering what was thought of the Polk subs? Also, is there any way to allow more sound to go through the back seats(96 coupe)? thanks
