Has anyone ever wrapped anything in carbon fiber? (archive)

This isn't exactly a BMW question, but I figure that someone here might know. Basically, I'm looking to wrap some forearm crutches, like the ones Tucker used in "There's Something About Mary," in Carbon Fiber so they don't look so stupid. If I can't put any carbon on my M3, anymore why not here? I have a few questions.
1) Is there anyone who can do this at a reasonable price?
2) How hard is it to work with carbon fibers and resins? I'm not looking for any structural strength, so basically, all I need to do is wrap them, lay the resin down, and then pollish them. Is this doable? How wil they look when done?
3) How much weight will this add? I'm not really adding that much, but weight is a concern.

I've linked below to the page where I might buy the stuff from, the "3K, 2X2 Twill Weave Graphite Fabric, #1069" half way down on the right. Am I wasting my time in trying to do this on my own? Are there any good samaritans on the board who'd do this for me if I sent them the crutches and materials necessary? Thanks so much for any help.
