My 1995 M3 has a radio like the first one below but the lights have gone dim and the buttons are worn. I bought a used radio, the second below, but it won't control my Alpine BMW CD changer even though the radio is an "Alpine5" when you do the (-) and (program) buttons. I guess I need another radio like the first picture (P/N 65.12-8 364 944). Or are there any other BMW heads that will work with my Alpine BMW changer? I need to sell the lower pictured radio if anyone is interested and I need to buy another like the top picture that is in good shape. Thanks in advance for any ideas. Terry
