Check out www.gapa.com , this is where I got my parts from. These are what you will need: 1) Thermostat 88 degrees part# G400066675 $15.67 2) Metal thermostat housing to replace the plastic housing that could fail part# G401062812 $19.91 3) Gasket part#11531740437 $0.71 4) Paper gasket that is required for the metal housing available from BMW for $8.00. If you have not replaced your water pump this is a good time to do so. Replace it with a metal impeller pump part# G300088179 $41.02. I did all of this plus the belts and plugs in less than 4 hours with the help of a bentley manual.
