A guy from Roundel interviewed an executive from BMW and the point of the whole story was that BMWs are getting to complex and too expensive thus shrinking profit margins. The reporter was shown what BMW is spending research dollars on. You won't even guess??? TOYS! BMW is building toys starting with a skate board or something. They had a whole lab area of different toys. The BMW exec. said we won't be able to build cars forever and that we must be ready to make money in doing other stuff than just cars. I hope this doesn't happen too soon:(
