If you've never driven stick before, an M3's not the best place to start. Even if you think you've learned on someone else's car, driving here and there, I'd still shy away. The M3 is a really fun car, but this fun can easily get you in trouble. If you've only been driving for four years, and none of them in a manual, if you get into a tricky spot things probably will not turn out too well. Also, even if you think you can drive stick, I don't think that the M3 clutch was designed for beginners. Ask my friend how much a new clutch for a '99M3 costs after 25,000 mi. (He's probably a worse case than most, but it illustrates a point.)
