I also bought my manual M3 without knowing how to drive stick. I had only driven my friend's MT civic one time in the past, but that was it.

Honestly, it is not that hard to learn. All you need to do is get used to the clutch and know 'where it catches.' I don't think I have any special driving skills, and it only took me about a week before I was driving it around with no problems.

Another point... It may actually be better to learn on your M3 since that's the car you'll be driving. It's a little different for every car, so if you go learn on an 'easier' car, you might still have problems with the M3. Unless you're REALLY REALLY bad, your clutch should be fine!!
