After cleaning the wheels really good, put a layer of wax on them. Use a small brush or old toothbrush to get into crevices. Next time when the wheels are full of brake dust, just wipe with a clean towel, and the dust will come off really easy, and rims will be sparkling. Spray some water, dry, put another layer of wax and repeat.

If you want to get rid of the brakedust period, prolly should switch to some other brake pads. I have heard good things about Pagid or EBC.

Anyone have any tips for getting rid of that brake dust on the Contour wheels? I break my back every Saturday cleaning them with an old T-shirt. Will those wheel brushes I see do the job and NOT tear up the clear coat? Or is there better stuff out there?

Thanks...
