I use a sponge wrapped in terry clothe. I think Armor All or Turtlewax makes it. I use it ONLY for my wheels (don't want to wash the car w/ brake dust residue). I rinse THOROUGHLY after every use and wash it in the washing machine every 2-3 uses - to get some of the little particles that are hiding in there so they don't mess up the clearcoat on the rim over and extended period of time.



Anyone have any tips for getting rid of that brake dust on the Contour wheels? I break my back every Saturday cleaning them with an old T-shirt. Will those wheel brushes I see do the job and NOT tear up the clear coat? Or is there better stuff out there?
