Questions on purchasing 98-00 E36 M3 (please read) (archive)

I'm new in here. Well, actually, I've been lurking this site for quite a while and have been gather quite a bit of knowledge regarding E36 M3 :). It seems to me that the car is an extremely fun car to drive :) and the maintenance do costs a lot :).

Now that I am about 90% ready to purchase a used 98-00 E36 M3, I have a few questions for all of those E36 M3 gurus in this board. My starting questions are:
1. What do I need to be concern regarding M3s 98-00 built date? For instance, recalls, defects, etc.
2. Anything very important in particular that I need to know/understand on M3s 98-00 built date?
3. I found 1994 Euro White E36 M3 from classified sction of this site. What are the disadvantages in buying Euro M3 in the US?
