I live in Chicagoland also and bought LM-22's. They are great snow tires and are OK in dry. This great weather really has me wishing I could put on my MXX3's.

With these tires in the snow(what little we have had this year) I am able to leave traction control on, hit the gas, and the car just goes. They feel very stable in a straight line. I have been over 100 with them and no problems. Cornering is another story but you need to make sacrifices and it isn't really bad, just nothing near performance tires. I have 225/45/17 models

Hi guys,

Just got my 98 M3 and live in the Chicago area. Winter has been good to us so far but I'm concerned about the next month or so.

What winter tire do you use? I have the regular Michelins at the moment.

Thanks

Tristan
