I've been driving automatic for four years now and I'm looking into a manual M3. Since I have no experience in driving stick, maybe you all can give me some hints and help. Is it hard to learn? I dont want to get a power house then mess up the engine. Any advice or comment welcome.

You need to get to a point where shifting is instinctual and your not thinking about it. It will take about a 2 -3 weeks to learn. First week is the worst. Constantly thinking about stalling and letting off on the clutch to early by week 3 its like riding a bike.
