If you want convenience...then either of the alarms you suggest are fine.

If you want security, get a clifford 7000 custom installed. A lesser alarm with a QUALITY install, is worth 100 times more than a top of the line alarm with a crappy install.

I paid over 600 bucks for my clifford 7000 and install. And no, my "brain" is buried in my car, not right behind the glove box (where BMW and Stellar put the brain...every thief knows this!!)

Don't scrimp the extra 300-400 bucks on the protection of a 20-30,000 dollar car.
