It's almost time to do my suspension upgrades. I went to CEC (a popular motorsport shop in So Cal.) and for BMW they deal primarily with ACS, which is primarily what i'm going to go with for most of my customizations with the exception of a few things, as the extra money isnt really worth spending. Anyway... when I got down to talking about suspension of course he was pushing the ACS suspension kit (shocks struts and springs) for $1549. Sway bars are $569, front strut is $499 and rear strut is $399. I'm going to go with the ACS sways and struts just to keep consistancy. So anyway when I told the salesman I heard Koni and H&R was one of the best setups for performance/price he told me Koni and H&R is a horrible setup.. and that the two products werent really made to go hand and hand. Does anyone have this setup and if so what do you think and are you happy? How low is the drop? Ride harshness? Any comments will help.. thanks guys. -Jeff

Test drove a friend's car and it rode just a tad stiffer than stock. For that price, you can get this set easily. Why would you compare a $1500 setup to Koni's lower end $700 setup?
Also... I'm sure ACS does not actually make their own spring/shock?...
