I don't remember where I read it from, but I think ACS suspensions are made primarily by SACHS. I used to have the H&R sports with Bilstein Shocks. Now I use H&R coilovers. The spring/shocks setup was fairly firm. The coilovers were actually softer and lower(adjustable, I set it at the lowest setting). I find the coilovers ride quite comfortably.

I consider myself as being quite knowledgable in regards to car modifications. And I've dealt with CEC before in the past. In my opinion, their customer service is very poor. If you talk to their sales people, all they want to do is sell you their stuff, and they seem to not know about any other brands of products other than the ones they sell. They always claim other companies products are inferior in some way, but they have nothing to back up their statements when asked. It's true that most, if not all, of ACS products are made by bigger manufacturers, like H&R, Bilstein, Eibach, Ronal, etc... But CEC always says that ACS is better than the other brands, even though it's made by the other companies. Well, what can you expect when they're being paid on commission. Of course they're going to tell you that their $1500+ spring/shock setup is better than the $1300 H&R COILOVER setup. They wouldn't get paid if they told you otherwise. If you told them that you can get the stuff cheaper elsewhere, they'd give you some bullshit about why it's better to buy it from them and how the other company is inferior. Which is ironic since CEC is the exclusive importer of ACS stuff, so ultimately they would still get the money, it's just that the Sales people wouldn't get any of it.

I personally love ACS stuff, but I just truly hate their sales people. Even if you email CEC at info@cecwheels.com, they NEVER answer any of your questions directly. They either send you back an email with an attachment of their catalogue or they tell you to call their showroom. Which would accomplish nothing, since the whole point of emailing them in the first place is to avoid calling the showroom. You get no real INFO at that email address. They should change the address to something like sales@cecwheels.com, that would be more appropriate. Or more accurately, callshowroom@cecwheels.com

That's my opinion based on my experiences. I'd say go with H&R coilovers and RD sport or Eibach Sway Bars. Don't waste your money on an overpriced inferior product from a company with very poor service.
