Hey Dave,

I sappose you could but then you'd need to torch it open and then torch it closed. The insides are pretty simple (since I cut open my last one..). A straight through pipe with holes in it, surrounded by fiberglass-like mesh. Ya could cut it open and remove all the mesh but I don't have a torch --- I like the idea however.. Would save some bucks on buying a new muffler...
