It could be renamed the BMW-hater club, although the attitude doesn't seem as bad when I visited regularly last year. I've driven S4's, and in some ways they are superior to the E36 M3.

Stroll though posts at bimmerforums, here, dtm, and you don't come across too many posts bashing S4's. They are fine cars, and many bimmer owners will admit that. I remember a couple of threads where a bmw owner was looking for support against S4's . . the bmw guys came back and said he was smoking crack, and that S4's are great.

Then also take a stroll through looking at user's handles. Not too many "audieater" or "S4killer" type handles. As I said above, to identify yourself as an audi driver by having plates or a handle like "M3-killer" or whatever is pathetic.
