1) Does all 99 M3's gear stick nob illuminate when the driving lights are turned on?

Yes, all M3s from late 1997 and on came with the lighted shift knob. If the knob on the car is stock, but doesn't illuminate, the bulb may be burned out. Supposedly, you can change the bulb inside the knob somehow. If the car's knob is not stock, you can purchase a new lighted knob from Circle BMW for $85.69 plus shipping.


2) All 99 M3's are blessed with the 3.2 liter motor right?
