95s are the cheapest and some say they are the ones to have because the computer is less intrusive which makes them easier to modify. In 96 they put a 3.2 instead of the 3.0L without any real performance difference. 96 also got one inch wider wheels, digital climate control, adn traction control. 98 got rear headrests and side air bags. 95s go for 22 and 99s go 32. Good luck i am going to buy a e36 m3 this year, i want to know which year is the best whioch year to avoid if any, what differences occured between the years if any, and price differences, and what should i be expecting to pay for this car. thanks alot
