I just replaced all 4 rotors with Zimmerman X drilled. I have less than 300 miles on them. Unfortunatley I had to make a panic stop with in the first 50 miles. I did not activate the ABS, however it was a pretty agressive slow down from about 80mph to about 20mph.

Specifically, I can see a few hair fine circular grooves that travel around the entire front rotors. If I run my fingernail across them I can feel the indentations. The back rotors are far less pronounced but a slight pattern has developed.

Are these grooves common? Have I damaged the rotors?

Any comments or thoughts?
