I replaced the rotors and pads at the same time.

from what i have heard, you're supposed to do pads first, and then rotors after you've broken in the pads. this is because new pads have hard edges that tend to cut into rotors. as they wear, those edges round out some and are not quite as sharp. at this point, you change the rotors. sounds logical to me.
