A 95 m3 gets 15lbs of torque with just a chip, which is just one example of the flexibility of the OBD I computer over OBD II.

96 m3's have .2 L advantage and a higher final gear ratio compared to 95's, which accounts for the15lbs of torque, but the OBD II computer stunts its potential. That was the only point. If you disagree please speak on that point instead of picking on minor errors (i.e 3.25 instead of 3.23).
