I'm in the process of installing my Euro HFM intake. My kit includes a used Dinan CAI, 540i HFM and the appropriate Conforti chip. Yesterday I decided to just install the CAI, so I could compare the difference between the CAI alone and with the chip and HFM. One quick question, why does Dinan recommend their software when installing the CAI? Is it not kosher to run it without, or is that just in their eyes? Actually I love the sound and can feel a mild difference in performance. Tomorrow it's of to the local tuner to get the 3.5" adapter and the reducer, then the installation will be complete. ; /
