Mine does it too. The fix is to pull the filler out about an inch or two and squeez. It will run wide open without cutting off and it will rest there on its own. It has something to do with the angle of the gas flowing in getting restricted and making the pump think the tank is full. lately at some gas stations, my tank will refuse to fill up. the cutoff on the gas pump cuts in a fraction of a second after i squeeze the handle. the only way i can fill up sometimes is to hold the pump handle at half throttle and slowly fill. one time, a little gas dripped out onto the back side of my back tire while filling. i couldn't see where it was leaking from. is it possible that i have some sort of blockage in the fuel tank filler pipe? actually what i want to hear is that this is a common problem and that i don't have to take it in to the dealers...
