Good News - Bad News – Good News Story

Good: I am being expatriated to Europe this summer for a couple of years.
Bad: Am required to sell the Bavarian Tomato (and my wife’s 2000 Mercury Villager Sport with only 15K miles) as my company does not allow cars to be shipped to Europe.
Good: I am able to get a BMW, Mercedes or Audi as my company car when I arrive.

So here goes:
Mint 1998 4-door manufactured in May of 1998 (one of the last ones) to my specifications and I did the European Delivery of it in July of '98 in Munich. I am the only owner and only driver. The car looks like it is less than a year old.

Bright Red "Hellrot" with a Mullbury (dark charcoal gray/purple tint) interior. It just turned 33K miles on 3/15/02. The Bavarian Tomato has a manual transmission, power seats, cruise control, rear spoiler, 4 airbags and lighted shift knob all from the factory. BMW extras include: 6 disc changer, alarm w/remotes, trunk mat, car cover, wheel locks, floor mats, yada yada yada, including the regulation factory first-aid kit and warning triangle you get with a Euro delivery.......and a wonderbra (Colgan). Medium tint on the windows. Performance modifications include BMW X-brace, UUC short shifter, Conforti Cold Air Intake and 'sharked' (computer upgrade) - I have all original parts.

The warranty is good through July of 2002 so if you want to purchase an extended warranty before then you can. I have had all the required services done and a bunch of oil changes in between the scheduled service and needless to say all of the records. I put 4 Yokohama AVS Sports on at 22K and just had its first Inspection II completed on 3/29/02.

I have had it to 142 (indicated, not radar clocked!) in the wide-open Oklahoma plains and at 120 – 130 through the Texas Hill Country – there is nothing like a M3 at speed through the twistys!

From what I can gather the car/the age/low mileage/great condition and the upgrades puts it at about $31. If you know something different let me know. I have no debt on it and have the title so transfer will be no hassle. Car is in Houston, Texas area and I can deliver it.
