try the "blue" compound. I've run them on my 95&97 M3's for the last 5 yrs street & track. They will squeek when cold ( usually below 40 deg) but stop well when cold, are rotor friendly, & also work well on the track - not as much grip as orange compounds but more progressive pedal feel.
