I would say that if you want to do something cheap...do the Xbrace...it firms the car up a little bit. Don't even bother with the strut brace(esp if you have a xbrace). Sway bar...I would hesitate unless you do the shocks/springs/coilovers at the same time.

Seriously though...if the driver cannot drive...all the money in the world isn't going to help them...but then again...it seems to help UMP(just kidding)

No it does not all come down to center of gravity. There are about a billion factors that go into what you asked(I counted them)
