I'd go with a CD on that much cash in this market.

But if you're feeling dangerous, put some of it in T. Rowe Price's Mid-Cap Value Fund. It's done great over the past few years. It earned 28.65% last year and has earned about 10% thus far this year, in a down market.

I invest $300/month in the fund, but I consider it more or less gambling money.

Please advise something besides "buy a bimmer". I love bimmers, a new(er) M3 is tempting, but I owned two already and don't want to invest this cash in a depreciating asset.

Severance pkg coming soon, don't really have any large debts (no credit card bills), what to do with the money?

Pay off any remaining low int rate mortgage, tax free municipal bonds, tech stocks, mutual funds, CD's?

What would you do with the cash - approx $100K after all tax withholdings?
