Valve Shimming on '91 M5 (archive)

I'm looking for someone to give me directions on how to do the valve shimming on my M5. I have the opportunity to finally get the shimming tool from BMPD design, and need to know right now. I need more info than just "Go buy the $60 dollar book." I need to know what else I need to buy, such as gaskets, shims, etc. Any info would be much appreciated. Sorry for such the short notice.
