: How good does the M5 sound. I am not just referring to the 2000 M5 with the V8 but the E34 or the E28? Does the E34 sound like an M3 or an M Coupe? I have heard one or two in the streets but I am really curious.

: Is there any way for me to replicate that sound with my
: 528i?

: Thanks

: 1998 Alpine White 528i 5 speed (to make it blip)!

The M5 is a lot louder at full throttle than any newer M car. It is hard to describe really. Actually, the sound during the chase scene in Ronin is dubbed in M5 engine noise. After watching the movie, I would say that is true when the shot is the interior of the car. I am not so sure when the car is shot from the outside. You could buy a perfect M5 if you sold your 528i :-).
