: I am looking to purchase a 1991-1993 M5. I am looking for Silver w/ Black Leather. Was this combo available all 3 years for the US Cars? Any other advice other E34 M5 owners can give me in regards to purchasing a used M5?

: Thanks very much.

These are really nice cars. I have a white '91 as an all year driver and it even handles beautifully in snow. (Use Nokia Hak 1 snow tires). When you buy, note that the self-leveling suspensions tend to fail after about 60-70K miles and are expensive (can be replaced with sport Bilsteins), so look for a dashboard message that reads "suspension leveling." The dashboard enginge messages provide very good diagnostics and should not be ignored. I've played with the Dinan chip but not yet the cam. The chip makes a slight difference, just as most people would say, but stock is quite agressive on this car. Have fun!
