I've a friend that has the new 360 Modena : he told me that's almost impossible to do more than 200 miles with it without being really upset by the loud engine sound, which is louder than a Fiat Punto at 100 mph !!
Most of the people who have a Ferrari do not drive it more than 10000 miles a year, i think this is because it is not at all a car done to be driven 500 miles in the same day !
I've one E39 M5 Silverstone with double glass and can tell you that you can do 500 miles in a day without any problem ; you just hear the sweet engine sound when you're not pushing it hard (2000 rpm at 60 mph in 6th gear)
Of course the Porsche will be less silent than the E39 M5 too but better than the Ferrari.
E39 M5 and the Ferrari are really special cars, the Porsche is a type of car that exists for more than 20 years.. everyone knows what is a Porsche, but not what is a E39 M5, that's make in a sense the BMW more attractive !
