Yes thats correct. I bought mine with about 55K miles and it had already had it replaced. This part needs replacing before it goes or you might damage the engine. Other items that are expensive to replace are the shocks if you get the original replacement parts, although with about 60K it is unlikely they need replacing yet. The exhaust should be carefully checked since it is also expensive and will need replacing sooner or later (rust depends on climate).
Oh, don't worry you can program the on board to sound the alarm so you know when you do more than 125mph (or fall below, don't forget it is German).
