: This thing is vexing me. I've cleaned the Idle Control Valve, throttle bodies, and checked the o-rings. It seems like something is sticking. Coming to a stop the idle intermittently stays steady around 1500rpms but when I blip the throttle it sometimes clears to a regular idle. It doesn't always work and even sometimes goes to a higher rpm like 2000. Anyone been-there-done-that? TIA

Curt,
dont forget to check the throttle AND cruise control cables. On mine the plastic outer casing had deformed to the point that it would sometimes cause the cruise control cable to stop the throttle from returning to closed. More often than not blipping the throttle let it close. I trimmed away the deformed casing and the problem went away. Zero $ for once.
