As mentioned, here in the US they do not have floating rotors (liability issue, maybe it will change someday). Difference in stopping tests (80-0) would be nothing.... HOWEVER, heavy brake usage (i.e. on the authobahn or on a track), the US brakes will experience more fading than the Euro brakes.
