For $50k over sticker!!! (archive)

Last time I was in Beverly Hills BMW showroom, they had a black/black M5. Next to the sticker of the price was a dealer mark-up slip...$50,000!!! I was floored. In addition, the salesperson stated that they sold one of the first cars for $56,000 over! Hmmm, guess it pays to open shop in Beverly Hills. In any case, by the time I left the showroom, the dealer had come down to $3,000 over sticker if I would take it home that night....no thanks, I get mine at a discount.
