Allison BMW has had a Jet Black in for more than 2 weeks already. I called them before I bought the one at Stevens Creek. A stupid droid said "98k - no negotiation," so I hung up the phone. The car was still there as of last Sunday.

Today, I was told the same story even as a repeat customer. I bought 540iTA from them last year.
My sale guy that I always worked with told me
that he can probably get a couple thousands off
for me cause I'm also trading in my 97 M3, no more. *They won't do it.* I'm not sure that
who is exactly *they* here.

This pissed me off a little. Their service appointment is also 4-5 weeks backlogged, which is
terrible.

They also have Z8 on the floor, asking $295k.
I'm very amused.

So I ended up getting a '00 550 Maranello instead
and I never looked back. Ferrari of Los Gatos
made me a very good deal, they even took in
my M3 trade in with a reasonable price.

Italy 1, Germany 0 for today.

IMHO, BMW situation and markup in bay area is
unacceptable. BMW is a great car, but I'm sorry,
the M5 is just not worth $30k over MSRP.

One last bit, I called up a ferrari service department to schedule a service for my '99 355 spyder. The wait time is just a little over a week and they will come pick up my car in flatbed truck from my house.

Now, I'm still waiting to see the porsche
service department will do when my '01 996 turbo
need a service.
