I have a 2001 M5 on order in Dallas for February build and March delivery so I need to "order" in a month or two. There are so few options, I was curious about pros and cons of the following items:

Fold Down Rear Seats/Ski bag - It seems convenient, but I have heard that the fold down seats squeak more, which would be annoying. Any opinions or exeperiences?

Rear Spoiler Deletion - For those who kept, any regrets? For those who deleted it, what is your rationale?

Wood Trim - I am getting a black on black. What looks better the bruyere or the burl wood (I think those are the two options)?

PDC - I am getting it,I love gadgets.

Upgraded Audio - I'm getting it - it s only a 1.4% price increase - why not?

Sun Shade - Not getting it

Any other options?

If you live in a climate where seasons change or a climate that is warm year round, get the shades. They keep the interior cooler and protect it from the sun's damaging UV rays. Because the rear shades roll up and down you can have privacy when you want it. When you don't want privacy, roll them back down. The rear shades are a $575 option and to me are definitely worth it.
