I have a 2000 Carbon Black and I cannot make up my mind if I like it or not. I have a 2001 M5 on order as well and am thinking of going with the Lemans Blue instead. Just my opinion but it is a color that is not black but is not dark blue either. It may be just what you want. Mine will be available in about 3 to 4 months if you are interested.

I am thinking about carbon black as the color for my next bimmer. How do you like the color? Is it a dark blue most of the time, or is it mainly black? How much commitment do you need to take care of it as compared to a lighter color such as white?...i.e. does it require constant washing/waxing?
