I am thinking about carbon black as the color for my next bimmer. How do you like the color? Is it a dark blue most of the time, or is it mainly black? How much commitment do you need to take care of it as compared to a lighter color such as white?...i.e. does it require constant washing/waxing?

I LOVE the color. It changes from black to blue depending on the lighting and IMHO is the BEST color BMW offers. It is somewhat of a pain to keep the dust off, but isn't any worse than any other black car. Besides, this is going to be your new baby. If you don't like treating it like one, don't get it.
