My M5 is indeed Avus Blue, a mistake I'm told, as Lemans Blue wasn't ready in time for the launch of the car. They had the interior pieces in Lemans blue ready, but had to use Avus paint for the first 4 or 5 months production. It's long gone now. Maybe in 20 years it will be bring a premium?

As for the driving program, I bought my car last Christmas but wanted to wait for no snow or ice, then I forgot about it in the spring, then it got too hot to enjoy it, and then last week was perfect! You can go anytime, it just depends on their schedule. However, you must have delivery of the car first before they let you book the trip.

Must have been a blast for you! Can't wait to take it myself.. How long after purchase of an M5 would I have to wait (Production in one month)? Another thing. was that M5 Avus blue??
